    Möller-Wedel Optical ELCOMAT® direct N Electronic Autocollimator

    Each Möller-Wedel Optical ELCOMAT® direct N consists of the autocollimation sensor and the software ELCOdirect. ELCOdirect can be used with Microsoft® Windows and a current PC, laptop or notebook. The autocollimation sensor is connected to the computer via the USB interface. A Microsoft® Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL), autocollimation function, is included with the software ELCOdirect.

    Electronic autocollimators are highly precise optical angle measurement instruments. They are used for the measurement of the most minute angle variations as well as angle adjustments of mirrors and other optical components. This makes them ideal for angular position monitoring or adjustment of reflectors in the optical, laser and semiconductor industries. They are also widely used in mechanical engineering to measure the straightness/parallelism of machine beds, to measure the pitch and yaw movements of machine axes, and to determine the position uncertainty of rotary and index tables.
