The Helmut Fischer SIGMASCOPE® SMP350 is a compact handheld device for measuring the electrical conductivity of non-ferrous metals. It quickly and accurately measures the electrical conductivity of aluminum or copper. From the measured conductivity, you can then draw further conclusions about the hardness and strength of heat-treated materials. This lets you monitor the material stability of components that are exposed to large temperature fluctuations. Even heat damage and material fatigue can be determined simply this way.
