Light Conversion TOPAS-PRIME: Collinear Optical Parametric Amplifier

Light Conversion's TOPAS-PRIME is a collinear femtosecond optical parametric amplifier (OPA) designed for Ti:Sapphire lasers.

The standard TOPAS-PRIME collinear OPA model accepts pump pulse energy of up to 3.5 mJ @ 20 – 60fs (up to 4 mJ @ 60– 200 fs), while TOPAS-PRIME-PLUS accepts higher pump pulse energy, up to 6 mJ @ 60– 200 fs.

  • Light Conversion TOPAS-PRIME-HE: High Energy Optical Parametric Amplifier

Light Conversion TOPAS-PRIME-HE: High Energy Optical Parametric Amplifier

Light Conversion's TOPAS-PRIME-HE is a high-energy femtosecond optical parametric amplifier of white-light continuum for Ti:Sapphire lasers. It is a based on TOPAS-PRIME, featuring an additional high-energy and low-dispersion amplification stage, which allows using up to 60 mJ of pump energy (or even more for custom solutions) and maintaining the shortest possible pulses at the output.

The standard TOPAS-PRIME-HE high-energy OPA model accepts pump pulse energy of up to 15 mJ @ 35 – 60 fs (up to 27 mJ @ 100 – 200 fs), while TOPAS-PRIME-HE-PLUS accepts higher pump pulse energy, up to 35 mJ @ 35 – 60 fs (up to 60 mJ @ 100 – 200 fs). The pump pulse energy of 60 mJ is possible with longer pulses, ca. 150 fs.

Both models come with wavelength extension options, which can cover the maximum wavelength range from 189 nm to 20 μm for TOPAS-PRIME-HE and 240 nm to 20 μm for TOPAS-PRIME-HE-PLUS.

  • Light Conversion TOPAS-TWINS: Two Independently Tunable Optical Parametric Amplifiers

Light Conversion TOPAS-TWINS: Two Independently Tunable Optical Parametric Amplifiers

Light Conversion's TOPAS‑TWINS are two independently tunable optical parametric amplifiers (OPAs) for Ti:Sapphire lasers, integrated into a single housing. Both OPAs share the same white light source to provide excellent and bound up stability of both outputs. Shared white light enables the user to generate CEP locked mid‑IR pulses in 4.5 – 15 μm range.

The maximum pump energy into each OPA depends on the pulse duration; see the specification notes for more details. Both OPAs come with wavelength extension options, which can cover the wavelength range from 240 nm to 20 μm. Output specifications for each OPA are the same as of TOPAS‑PRIME.
