nanoplus now offers mid-infrared LEDs (MIR LEDs or ICLED) at any wavelength between 2000 nm and 2500 nm. These rely on the same technology as our very successful interband cascade lasers.

nanoplus Mid IR LEDs

nanoplus introduces continuous-wave MIR LEDs (also known as ICLEDs) at customized wavelengths. Select any wavelength between 2800 nm and 6500 nm. The substrate-side-emitting devices display higher wall-plug efficiencies and maximum output powers > 1mW than previous MIR LEDs operating in continuous wave at room temperature. Operation in pulsed mode is, as well, possible, for low power consumption. nanoplus MIR LEDs are broadband, incoherent and cost-effective alternatives to lasers for many gas sensing applications in industry and research.
nanoplus Superluminescent Lasers

nanoplus superluminescent diodes (SLD) are specially designed and characterized to fit your requirements. Since more than 20 years, nanoplus has been manufacturing distributed feedback lasers and Fabry-Pérot lasers with excellent performance: the same technology is used for our SLDs. nanoplus offers SLDs at any wavelength between 760 nm and 2900 nm.
nanoplus Fabry-Pérot Lasers

nanoplus Fabry-Pérot lasers are specially designed and characterized to fit your requirements. Since more than 20 years, nanoplus has been manufacturing Fabry-Pérot lasers with excellent performance. They are used for security measures and range finding. In conjunction with an external cavity they are ideally suited for gas sensing applications.
nanoplus Interband Cascade Lasers

nanoplus offers a DFB interband cascade laser (ICL) at any target wavelength in the mid-infrared (MIR) between 3 μm and 6 μm. The device operates in continuous wave (cw) mode around room temperature. Specifications and behavior are very comparable to a nanoplus laser at lower wavelengths. When you set up an ICL-based analyzer, you can, hence, transfer the engineering knowledge you have gained from building short-wavelength gas sensors.
