GAM Excimer Lasers offered deep UV lasers for industry and research until the company ceased production several years ago. Now, a group of former employees at Alakai Defense Systems have announced a refurbishment and service program for existing GAM lasers still in operation. In addition, completely refurbished systems are also now available.
Alakai Defense Systems will incorporate their in house technology to offer repair / refurbishment services to former GAM Laser customers beginning with the EX5 and EX5A series. Completely refurbished systems of these two systems are available, in as new condition with new specifications.
According to Alakai spokesman Joe Batcho : "If your laser is underperforming, experiencing low energy output or erratic operation, our factory trained laser specialists can help. We have years of experience of hands-on servicing of the EX5 / EX5A product line. We understand the full spectrum of system-level diagnostics, hardware issues, and full chamber rebuild techniques necessary to get your laser back in the field – fast."
