In two-photon microscopy, simultaneous multi-colour imaging provides rich insight into biological samples . Especially, metabolic imaging greatly benefits from simultaneous NADH and FAD measurements. With the Toptica FemtoFiber ultra dual-colour, two FemtoFiber ultra are optically synchronized and allow simultaneous imaging with two different laser colours. No laser wavelength tuning is required. A shared oscillator design guarantees all-optical synchronization and hence a fixed, defined delay between the two laser colours with minimum jitter. In addition, only a single electronic trigger output serves as reference for TCSPC electronics in Fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) as well as gated detectors.

  • Two synchronized laser lines for multi-colour non-linear imaging
  • Shared oscillator design for all-optical synchronization
  • Fixed delay between two colours with minimum jitter
  • Single electronic trigger output as reference for TCSPC and gated detection
