FEMTO: Ultra Low Noise Current Amplifier Series LCA

Unlike desktop amplifiers, preamplifier modules provide gain close to the detector before the signal-to-noise ratio significantly decreases due to cable capacitance and noise pickup. Signal processing and measuring after pre-amplifying has no effect on the signal/noise performance.

  • FEMTO: High Speed Current Amplifier Series HCA

FEMTO: High Speed Current Amplifier Series HCA

Users of high frequency components are often confronted with problems including unwanted oscillation, poor ground shielding, nonlinearities, gain peaking and bandwidth reduction caused by poorly designed amplifiers. FEMTO High Frequency Amplifiers have been designed to eliminate such unwanted problems. Insensitive to signal source parameters and input wiring, FEMTO High Frequency Amplifiers perform meticulously within their specifications. No gain peaking, oscillation or significant bandwidth reduction will occur, even for source capacitances up to maximum 2 nF (for the HCA-1M-1M-C).

FEMTO: Variable Gain Low Noise Current Amplifier DLPCA-200

Packed with features the FemtoDLPCA-200 variable gain transimpedance amplifier is designed for a wide range of applications that require the conversion of small currents into usable voltages. It is ideally suited, for example, for time resolved current and charge measurements down to the µs region and as preamplifier for photodiodes or lock-in systems.

  • FEMTO: Variable Gain High Speed Current Amplifier DHPCA-100

FEMTO: Variable Gain High Speed Current Amplifier DHPCA-100

The FemtoDHPCA-100 variable gain transimpedance amplifier is the perfect choice for applications that require the conversion of small electrical currents into usable voltages at bandwidths up to 200 MHz. It is ideally suited for DC and AC measurements up to 200 MHz, time resolved measurements down to the ns-region and as the preamplifier for fast photodetector signals.

The DHPCA-100 offers many features including variable gain from 102 to 108 V/A, switchable AC/DC-coupling, adjustable offset for baseline correction, adjustable bias voltage for use with fast photodiodes, switchable 10 MHz and 1 MHz low pass filters and the capability of both manual and remote control. With its rugged and compact EMI shielded case the DHPCA-100 is the ideal universal high speed amplifier for a broad range of applications.

  • FEMTO: Low-capacitance cables for long distances to the signal source

FEMTO: Low-capacitance cables for long distances to the signal source

FEMTO are pleased to introduce their new product: CAB-SC1-BB, low-capacitance coaxial cable assemblies with BNC connectors. These cables complement their portfolio of cable accessories. The low-capacitance CAB-SC1 series cables are high-quality coaxial cables designed for excellent signal quality. They are particularly well-suited for measuring small signals by minimising noise caused by cable capacitance. With a characteristic impedance of 150 Ω, these cables have a capacitance of only 30 pF/m – less than a third of the capacitance of conventional 50 Ω coaxial cables.
