All-fiber polarization beam splitter (PBS) and polarization beam combiner (PBC) operating in the 1 micron wavelength region with high-power handling capability are now commercially available. The PBS is designed to split a single input into two outputs of orthogonal polarizations. The PBC is designed to combine two inputs of orthogonal polarizations into a single output. These USA made fiber components can handle throughput power of >150W.
