Edmund Optics Smart Vision Lights (SVL) Camera to Light (CTL) Machine Vision LED Illuminators are IP65-rated brightfield lights featuring a working distance of 500-mm to 2000-mm that can be directly connected to a camera for control via the trigger output.

  • Edmund Optics Ultra Compact Objective Assemblies

Edmund Optics Ultra Compact Objective Assemblies

Edmund Optics' TECHSPEC® Ultra Compact Objective Assemblies are EO’s smallest objective and are nearly the smallest available in the market in their class of working distance, magnification, and resolution. These objectives are finite conjugate by design, but achieve similar imaging performance of infinity corrected objectives and do not require a secondary tube lens to generate an image on the sensor.

  • Edmund Optics: 3D Printed Gradient Index (GRIN) Lenses

Edmund Optics: 3D Printed Gradient Index (GRIN) Lenses

New from Edmund Optics,  3D Printed Gradient Index (GRIN) Lenses are additively manufactured through 3D inkjet-printing. These gradient optics are printed from two polymer inks containing nanoparticles and then cured to hold shape. By changing the nanoparticle concentration during the manufacturing process, a gradient refractive index is created in the optic which can be designed to vary in any axis. The 3D inkjet-printing process is capable of altering the refractive index contrast, refractive index gradient, and chromatic dispersion of the produced lenses, enabling highly complex or freeform optical functions. 3D Printed Gradient Index (GRIN) Lenses are used in defense applications, including night vision systems and imaging systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, to create smaller, lighter optical systems.

  • Edmund Optics: Achromatic Singlet Lenses

    Edmund Optics: Achromatic Singlet Lenses

Edmund Optic's new TECHSPEC® Achromatic Singlet Lenses are diamond turned aspheric achromatic lenses made of a single optical material, Zeonex E48R, that do not require optical cements or secondary materials to enhance color correction. The novel design has been shown to outperform traditional achromatic doublets by a factor of 3 and plano-convex (PCX) singlets by a factor of nearly 40 in terms of chromatic focal shift. TECHSPEC Achromatic Singlet Lenses are ideal for broadband focusing applications as well as ultraviolet applications where optical cement is not desired.

  • Edmund Optics: Ultra-Broadband Achromatic Lenses

    Edmund Optics: Ultra-Broadband Achromatic Lenses

Edmund Optics new Ultra-Broadband Achromatic Lenses feature high broadband transmission greater than 90% from 800 to 4000nm. These doublets are a compact solution for extending an application’s operation to the mid-infrared spectrum while correcting for chromatic aberration at 1030nm and 3.5μm. For optimal performance, these lenses are constructed from air-spaced calcium fluoride and sapphire substrates housed within an aluminum barrel. Ultra-Broadband Achromatic Lenses are ideal for use in broadband applications such as hyperspectral imaging, NIR and MWIR spectroscopy, photothermal, and broadband light sources such as super-continuum lasers.

  • Edmund Optics Ultra-High Power UV Curing System

Edmund Optics Ultra-High Power UV Curing System

This Edmund Optics Ultra-High Power UV Curing System provides fast and deep curing of UV cured optical adhesives or epoxies. Centered at 365nm, the UV light delivered by this system achieves UV irradiance up to 5.5W/cm2. The Ultra-High Power UV Curing System is designed to have a long operation lifetime of over 10,000 hours, excellent reliability, and energy efficiency. This UV curing system is operated through either a button located on the hand-held UV spot light or an included foot pedal for user convenience.

  • Edmund Optics: Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Flat Mirrors

Edmund Optics: Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Flat Mirrors

Edmund Optics TECHSPEC® Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Flat Mirrors are multilayer mirrors designed for maximum achievable reflectance at the design wavelength and angle of incidence. These mirrors feature a coating deposited on a super-polished single crystal silicon substrate and surface roughness less than 3Å RMS. The 45° AOI mirrors are useful for steering s-polarized beams, while the 5° AOI mirrors may be used with unpolarized beams. Applications for EUV mirrors include Coherent Diffractive Imaging (CDI) and materials science research. TECHSPEC Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Flat Mirrors can also serve as harmonic selectors for High Harmonic Generation (HHG) beams.

  • Edmund Optics: Knife-Edge Pickoff Mirrors

    Edmund Optics: Knife-Edge Pickoff Mirrors

Edmund Optics Knife-Edge Pickoff Mirrors are designed to selectively reflect an individual beam from a group of tightly spaced beams, while minimizing the overall footprint of the application. These mirrors feature a sharp 45° bevel with a reflective coating that extends to the beveled edge on a precision Fused Silica substrate with λ/10 flatness to the bevel. Knife-Edge Pickoff Mirrors are ideal for applications that incorporate dispersion prisms and diffraction gratings. These mirrors are available in three metallic coating options with performance from the visible spectrum into the far IR.
