    The spectra of Laser Quantum's broadband venteon oscillators are difficult to measure with standard Si-based CCD-spectrometers. Limited by the detector sensitivity, these devices are only suitable to cover a spectral range up to 1050 nm, which is not enough for the broadband spectra of state-of-the-art femtosecond lasers such as venteon ultra, which cover a spectral range up to 1200 nm. So far only expensive and scanning optical spectrum analysers have been suitable for a reliable oscillator characterisation.

    With the taccor family, Laser Quantum offers a range of femtosecond lasers with a repetition rate of 1 GHz. They are all turn-key products that combine the pump laser and oscillator in a compact mono-block design that greatly reduces the maintenance needs compared to other similar designs.

    The taccor one is a laser that can be supplied with a wavelength between 740 nm and 930 nm to match the application. We adjust the cavity to obtain the required wavelength. It is also available with a selection of pump laser to deliver the required optical power.

    The taccor power has an output wavelength centred around 800 nm and is designed and then tuned to offer the highest power for the configuration. This leads to output power up to 1.8 W. The taccor ultra has an output wavelength around 800 nm but unlike the taccor power, is designed and then tuned to create the widest possible spectral bandwidth and the shortest possible pulse durations.

    The taccor tune uses a simple touch-screen control (or software) to alter the output wavelength between 740 nm and 880 nm or 780 nm and 930 nm, making this laser ideal for applications where different wavelengths will be required.

    The taccor x10 is a turn-key femtosecond laser with a 10 GHz repetition rate, delivering more than 1 W of average power in pulses as short as 50 fs.

    The Laser Quantum venteon CEP5 laser is a complete carrier-envelope-phase (CEP) stabilised laser system that utilises the exceptional spectral characteristics of the venteon ultra oscillator for a direct realisation of sub-two cycle CEP stable laser pulses with less than 50 as timing jitter. The CEP5 locking approach is the most natural way of locking the CEP by only filtering the spectral wings and is thus efficient and low-noise. Most importantly, it does not affect the properties of the ultrashort output beam by avoiding refractive elements as an AOFS in the beam path.   • Laser Quantum: Venteon amplification

    Laser Quantum exclusively provides comprehensive solutions for the emerging market of OPCPA systems - the most direct approach for amplified high-power, few-cycle femtosecond laser pulses. Unlike for other commonly used amplification concepts such as Ti:sapphire-based multipass or regenerative amplifier systems, the parametric amplification process of Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplifiers (OPCPA) features a much larger gain bandwidth and no gain narrowing and thus is ideally suited to support the bandwidth and pulse duration generated by the broadband VENTEON femtosecond systems.

    Laser Quantum is capable of all the necessary technology required to realize a complete OPCPA system and proved its expertise, knowledge and competence by developing the world’s first commercial OPCPA.

    As a solid basis of the OPCPA systems, we can provide a specialized seed laser system, the Venteon PULSE OPCPAseed, which features a dual laser output for both, ultra-broadband signal and additionally a narrowband pump seed @ 1030 nm. The interface of the narrowband seed can be adapted in terms of coupling (free-space or fiber-coupled), pulse energy (with or without pre-amplification) and filtering. 

    For amplifying the narrowband pump pulses @ 1030nm we have developed an independent preamplifer solution. TheVenteon PULSE Preamplifier modules are designed for  amplifying low energy pulses (10 pJ) of the seed oscillator to significant higher power levels. All modules can of course be used as independent amplification modules for other laser systems around 1µm.

    Using this unique front-end laser system, the Venteon PULSE OPCPA is the first complete commercial protoype OPCPA system that now allows for the generation of sub-8fs pulses with pulse energies of more than 5µJ at high repetition rates.

    With the Venteon PULSE SPIDER and the octave-spanning compression mirrors, Laser Quantum can also supply the pulse compressing and accurate measurement of few-cycle pulses generated by OPCPA systems.
