The Integra-C is the most compact, high energy one-box amplified ultrafast Ti:Sapphire system available, producing over 3.5 mJ.

The Integra-C thermally stabilized platform contains an integrated seed oscillator and a compact Darwin diode-pumped Nd:YLF laser along with the Ti:sapphire amplifier stages and the grating stretcher/compressor. Thermal stabilization and robust “zero-drift” optical component mounts result in an unsurpassed ±5° C operating range.

The key to the high energy output while maintaining excellent beam quality and stability is the precise matching of a high gain regenerative amplifi er stage (RGA) with an efficient power amplifier (PA). The power amplifier stage is vital to efficient energy extraction while avoiding extreme gain saturation in a regenerative cavity, which can affect the ultimate beam quality and contrast at high output energies.

At energies lower than 1.0 mJ an RGA only system provides an economical and reliable source of femtosecond pulses. The stable cavity of a regenerative amplifier provides excellent beam quality and stability at these energy levels. The Integra-C is pumped by an integrated, compact Darwin diode-pumped Nd:YLF laser, which delivers up to 25 mJ of 527nm light for pumping the Ti:sapphire amplifier crystals.

The Integra-C is an excellent source of near infrared femtosecond pulses. When tunability is needed, it is an ideal pump source for OPAs.
