High Energy Solid State Lasers 

At the heart of each Continuum laser system is a very high efficiency pump chamber to couple the flashlamp light into the Nd:YAG rod. Through the use of a diffuse reflector concept, Continuum is able to produce high gain with low heat buildup in the overall system. The result is superior beam quality and excellent passive beam pointing stability without the use of the costly active locking technology used by other companies. Powerlite DLS Series: Energy through Efficiency

The Powerlite DLS is the next generation in high energy YAG laser design. It combines the performance and reliability of the renowned Powerlite laser family with a modern digital power supply and control architecture. The new power supply is very compact and reliable incorporating design elements from Continuum’s successful industrial and medical products. A sophisticated Graphical User Interface is provided for unmatched control and monitoring performance. LabView drivers are also available.

Unsurpassed in energy, the Powerlites range from 550 mJ to 3 J at 1064 nm, again with harmonic options for 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm outputs. Available with injection seeding option, double pulse option (DPO), or the Beam Access Package

Surelite Series: Proven Performance and Reliability

The Surelite has been Continuum's best selling small laser for over ten years, and is the world's high energy Nd:YAG laser of choice in its class. It’s not surprising when you consider how much performance, value and flexibility this reliable Surelite Series offers. With performance ranging from 450 mJ - 850 mJ at 1064 nm and harmonic options for 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm output as well as an injection seeding option, the Surelite has been used for Lidar, photolysis, ablation, spectroscopy and as a pump source for tunable dye, and OPO lasers.
