This xz-slice through mouse inner-ear hair cells using Abberior Instruments easy3D STED and RESCue STED demonstrates the unrivaled performance that can be achived by applying both techniques simultaneously. Since standard 3D superresolution places more photoinduced stress on the marker, the key ingredients that made this image possible where 1st: producing a STED-zero point of exceptional quality using easy3D STED, and 2nd: further reducing the light dose in the sample with RESCue STED.
