The venteon vCHIRP is a software tool allowing the calculation of dispersion characteristics of a femtosecond laser pulse propagating through various media elements and provides information on the best method to obtain a recompressed pulse at the point of use. It is specifically designed for ultra-broadband femtosecond lasers and GDD mirrors. The latest version of the software is now available (version 1.7), and features: dispersion and pulse compression calculations for designing your ultrafast experiment; a huge material database to select the dispersion characteristics, a wide range of glass materials such as BK7, Fused Silica, BaF2, CaF2, Sapphire; and  dispersion characteristics of DCM7 & 9 dispersion compensating mirrors.

In addition, vCHIRP supports many optical elements, such as grating compressors, and template pulses, such as Gaussian pulses or user-measured spectra. Using vCHIRP you can tweak your ultrafast experiment for optimal pulse recompression at the place of interest. Download your demo for free here.
