Easy illumination of larger cross sections of a fluid with the LaVision Compact Volume Optics

LaVision Optics

LaVision is offering a new Compact Volume Optics. The optics is designed to illuminate larger cross sections of a fluid, in order to capture the 3D flow field with the unique FlowMaster Tomographic PIV method. The double pulse beam of a laser will be expanded, so that the laser beam cross section can be optimized to the investigated flow phenomena and the laser power. An outstanding feature of the new optics is the continuously variable expansion of the laser beam volume. The laser beam volume can be adapted to a rectangular area with an additional adjustable aperture.
