BioPhase: provides in-situ stain free cell monitoring using brightfield objectives

BioPhase is an imaging device from PhaseView with unique capability of simultaneous acquisition of intensity and phase data at ultra high resolution, providing qualitative cell imaging and accurate quantitative measurements with outstanding key benefits.

Time lapse monitoring of 3D cell morphology can be performed without contrast agents with related photo toxicity and without specialized optics for free space manipulation. Cells can remain in situ in their growth medium using standard incubation flasks, Petri dishes or multi well plates.

The smart BioPhase camera is compatible with any optical microscope equipped with a video port and standard brightfield objectives. In addition fluorescence, confocal or TIRF images can be acquired using the same objective as well as providing simultaneously phase contrast imaging.

Unlike DIC or Phase Contrast techniques with halo or gradient side effects, BioPhase delivers true quantitative phase data for counting or volume measurements.
