The Edmund Optics Didaptica Adaptive Optics Kit is an excellent solution for teaching and exploring adaptive optics. It is designed as a complete adaptive optics kit for researchers requiring a novel test bench for control theory. The kit includes our #67-100 32 Actuator Deformable Mirror, 32-channel drive electronics, a Shack-Hartmann Wavefront sensor, the required hardware, open software libraries, and complete documentation for an easy and quick set-up of a few common experiments. The Didaptica Adaptive Optics Kit is designed by integrating a laser spot optimization tool into a traditional imaging path. By inserting a camera into the image path, it is possible for users to directly study and understand the effects of aberrations on image quality. As a result, the kit provides fast aberration control and wavefront measurement. The included wavefront sensor SDK makes the kit easily customizable for a range of customer applications. The Didaptica Adaptive Optics Kit is an excellent addition to any laboratory.
